My clinic name is June Spidell RMT.
I am new to the beautiful province of Alberta and I am welcoming new clients to my practice here.
I have spent the majority of my working career in the health field in some capacity, I've found that massage therapy is the most rewarding for a couple of reasons. I get to work one on one with my clients and I get to affect a positive change in their life for that period of time. I have never worked harder or enjoyed my work as much as I do as a massage therapist. I am continually amazed at how much therapeutic touch can make a difference especially in the lives of shut-ins, elderly, and those with debilitating conditions who may spend a lot of time alone.
I graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Kitchener, Ontario in 200 -- a 2200 hour program with over 30 hours in clinic and countless hours of outreach. I became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2005.
I am now a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta
I enjoyed my home based practice where I worked in cooperation with my clients to attain their health goals with respect to their particular condition.
I was sought after by case managers to facilitate in home or in institution massage care for catastrophic motor vehicle accident clients. I also worked alongside physicians, occupational therapists and physiotherapists and chiropractors providing massage therapy for their referred clients.
I do my best to achieve the treatment goal of my clients be it relaxation, pain reduction or elimination, decrease in inflammation, increase in joint range of motion, and, most significantly, prevention.
I have worked with every age group in various stages of healing from acute to chronic.
I want to continue providing this wonderful therapy in Edmonton and work in partnership with you while you "keep in touch with your health".
